Upon your arrival in Aswan, our representative will warmly welcome you at your hotel, Aswan Airport, or Aswan train station. Aswan, a picturesque city nestled along the Nile, will be your starting point. You'll begin your journey by taking a motorboat to the enchanting Philae Temple, beautifully situated on an island. Next, you'll visit the remarkable Aswan High Dam, a marvel of modern engineering. After this awe-inspiring day in Aswan, you'll check in to your Nile cruise. Enjoy a delicious lunch and take some time to relax and refresh. In the evening, a Nubian party, hosted by the cruise staff, will entertain you. At around 4:30 AM, our driver will pick you up for an extraordinary visit to Abu Simbel. By around 8 AM, you'll arrive at this impressive site, home to the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel, built for the illustrious King Ramesses II and his beloved Queen Nefertari. After your visit, you'll return to the cruise in time for lunch before setting sail towards Kom Ombo. You'll spend the night on the cruise as you continue your journey along the Nile. Following breakfast, your day starts with a horse-drawn carriage ride led by your tour guide to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of Egypt's most complete and well-preserved temples. Upon returning to the cruise, you can relax on deck, enjoying the unique and scenic landscapes along the Nile as you sail towards Luxor, passing through the Esna Lock. You'll be treated to lunch onboard and have the chance to enjoy afternoon tea on the sundeck. Late in the afternoon, you'll arrive in Luxor, where you'll disembark and be transferred to Luxor Temple on the East Bank. Luxor Temple is a remarkable site where you can witness elements of ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic history all in one place. Your day starts early, around 5:00 AM, with a pickup for an incredible 30 to 45-minute Hot Air Balloon flight over Luxor's West Bank. As you ascend, you'll witness the sunrise illuminating the skies over Luxor, offering a breath-taking view of the city's open-air museum, including its grand temples and mountains below. After your balloon adventure, enjoy breakfast and check out. You'll then proceed to the West Bank, where you'll visit the Valley of the Kings, an extraordinary burial ground for pharaohs from the New Kingdom. Your next stop is the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, an architectural marvel with an intriguing history. Your day in the West Bank concludes with a photo stop in front of the colossal statues of Memnon. Lunch can be enjoyed at a local restaurant (optional). In the afternoon, you'll return to the East Bank to explore Karnak Temple, one of the largest temple complexes in the world, built over the span of 2,000 years. After this final adventure, we'll transfer you to Luxor Hotel, Airport, or Railway station, typically around 3:00 to 4:00 PM, marking the end of your incredible journey.
